Visit Lanka Concept and History

The concept of Visit Lanka materialized when a group of individuals, each counting 25 years plus worth of experience in the travel industry, decided that there was a genuine opportunity for a well focused, highly service oriented, ethical, dependable and inventive travel company in the fast growing Sri Lankan tourism sector. In 2002, Visit Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. was established with Tourist Board Approval. The main motivations behind Visit Lanka are still upheld and honoured by our team and staff.

Within our initial year of operation we formed our sister company, Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services Pvt. Ltd. to handle the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) market.

Extremely flexible, we specialize in both group tours as well as individual tours tailored to our client’s discretion.
