Who we are
The concept and the company came together when a group of individuals counting over 20 years in travels decided that there was a unique opportunity for a well focused highly service oriented, ethical, dependable & pioneering travel company in the fast growing Sri Lankan leisure sector. With this in mind on the 2nd of June 2002 Visit Lanka (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated as a limited liability company to carry on the business as travel agents & tour operator sanctioned by the Ceylon Tourist Board. This idea & concept was well endorsed by Visit Lanka (Pvt) Ltd & it’s staff handling over 6,000 travellers to Sri Lanka, in only it’s first year of operation.

About Us
Visit Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Ordinance no. 17 of 1982, on the 06th of June 2002.

It is the unity and teamwork of ten dynamic members that formed the company and named it as Visit Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. Our vision is not focused on being the biggest inbound tour operator in Sri Lanka, but to be the best who excels in specialty tourism. We aim to serve a selected segment of customers and agents with unconditional options and selections of hotels, as a tour operator independent of influences from any hoteliers.

Among the specialties the company excel in are Sports, Eco & Adventure, Nature & Bio Diversity, Culture and Ayurveda. These are just a few concepts that have been identified as key growth areas of the our discerning travellers for both today and in the future.
